Early in the year, we took off on a longer distance than our usual roadtrips to another part of the Rockies. Down thru Montana and Wyoming…into Colorado…west of Denver…to the mountain town of Breckenridge. A couple days of snowboarding at a ski resort spanning 4 mountains. Wandering around the colorful mountain town. Night boarding at another ski resort. But best of all spending a few days with an incredible family, all the way from New Zealand. Two years since we had been together closer to their home so we were thrilled it worked out to join in on their US travels. Thanks for including us and making us part of your family! And a big thanks to a cool guy named Shaun that made our holiday just that much better too!
Before leaving home, I had a list of antique + collectibles shops along our way. We made it to a few. And then I was cut off saying antique, vintage or collectible when noticing a sign. I thought it was exciting while someone else thought it was slowing us down and taking up too much vehicle space! I’m still thinking of my new favorite antique shop in Billings and the treasures I left behind. Another one in Cheyenne, Wyoming, it was pretty neat too. Next trip will be with a truck, maybe even a trailer.
