As a photographer you never want to think about redo-ing a photo shoot because it means something didn’t go well. But this is a family photo session I would love to re-do because it was so darn perfect and amazing!! I would easily relive a beautiful evening like this with their wonderful, fun family! It was a pleasure to have them in front of my camera again. They are adorable together as they love to have fun and show lots of love and care to one another. Their outfits were well chosen for a vintage-style and isn’t the scenery absolutely stunning?! The area we went to is a coal mining area in the foothills with a mountain backdrop and being as it was late spring there was still snow on the mountains. We had a memorable evening exploring a neat area off the beaten track.
It all came together beautifully and was a perfect setting in the meadow and at the old railway bridges we found along the abandoned rail line. There’s lots of history in the area. It felt so peaceful and somewhat like a wilderness as there wasn’t really anyone else around. I’m excited for their family to have photos to add to the gallery walls in their home and to see a vintage display put together to showcase this fun, happy family time! Special memories for them and for me!!
ps. If anyone else wants a family photo session (or other lifestyle shoot!) in this gorgeous location, please get in touch as it’s amazing and I’d love to return!!
