Duncan family

We woke up to the ground covered with the white stuff like a thick blanket.  And it continued to fall all day.  Really it is quite pretty, and magical the way snowflakes twinkle, but that was too quick a season change for me.  Winter arrived.  Abruptly.   Knowing there was a chance of flurries in the forecast we were still planning to shoot some family portraits while the Duncan’s were in town visiting.  Thinking there might be a few snowflakes in the air and a light covering of snow.  Well, there ended up being a lot of snow for the first snow and a harsh, cold wind.  With their sweet personalities and beautiful smiles they braved the weather.  Thanks for making time on your busy weekend to have me photograph your lovely family, cozied up by the snowy evergreens.
