• hello and welcome!

What does BEAUTI mean to you?

beau-ty (n.pl.) Any of those attributes of form, sound, color, character, behavior, achievement, etc., which give pleasure and gratification to the senses or to the mind. Something excellent of its kind.

BEAUTI is more than physical attractiveness. BEAUTI surrounds us in many forms.

BEAUTI portrayed inside and out. BEAUTI at every age, in every stage of life. BEAUTI of this incredible world we live in. BEAUTI of emotions and feelings of the moment. BEAUTI that cannot be put into words.

    Discovering. Cherishing. Capturing.

Thank you for checking out my blog, feel free to look around and add a comment or send me a note. Sharing life’s BEAUTIs from my perspective…enjoy! Jenelle

Andrea | Wawota, Sk Trash the Dress

When Andrea first mentioned her idea of a trash the dress session to me I knew it would be crazy and fun!!  And it was purely crazy fun!  We were both bursting inside with laughter the entire time!

Almost 5 years ago, wearing this same dress she flew to the top of a mountain and was married up there.  Pretty spectacular and I’d have to say she made a statement wearing her dress again.  She lives with a lot of vigor and knows how to have fun!  Completely in her element.  The only thing that isn’t part of any ordinary day is wearing her wedding dress.  This is her life!  Along with a few special people and that is another photo shoot later this summer!

Thank you Andrea for such a FUN time!!

Tace | 5 Years Old

The typical response when I have my camera around this sweet nephew of mine is that he doesn’t like having his picture taken.  So this was an unusual evening!  He was very excited to show me how he can ride his 2-wheeler pedal bike.  Even stopping at the top of the hill to look and smile before racing down.  So I took full advantage that it would be a great evening to take him for a little “fishing” adventure and quickly put together a fishing pole.  He is one of the most thoughtful and fun little guys.  A memorable part was watching a muskrat swim right over to us then startled by our movement dove below the surface.  Such a great spring evening on the prairies!!

Kara | Montana sunset portraits

As the sun was quickly dropping in the sky and over the horizon, we had a little time at this ever so pretty location. I’ve had an idea in my head so coming over the hill earlier in the day and seeing this view, I knew it was the perfect spot!  As the snow melted away and ditches + ponds fill with water I have been taken by the reflections.  Catching my eye every time.  On this evening it took my breath away!  With amazing scenery around us, a super sweet gal and beautiful reflections.   The short while we had was fun + inspiring.  Adding to a very enjoyable weekend.  A beautiful place, a welcoming home and most of all a fabulous family in northeastern Montana that I love to visit!

Jean Pit dry lake bed | Behind the Scenes

Here’s a little peek behind the scenes at our photo shoot in the Mojave desert.  Five girls piled into a car and all these colorful props + works of art in the trunk.  Making for an incredible setup and energizing, fun time together.  Once we wrapped up shooting it took an artist to know how to place things just right to fit everything back in!!  Thanks again to Bre and Melissa for all their work beforehand making plans and pulling everything together in short order!

This was when I felt especially bad that my husband was back home in the snow!  Next time we need him to rip around on his dirtbike because it made for such a great backdrop.  At first I don’t think the guys were pleased to move their truck out of our background.  But then to show off like this, I think we made their afternoon ride much more interesting and they kept thinking of way to kick up more dust!
