When we arrived at the Kenosee Inn to start off the wedding day with the girls there was lots of excitement! Kaitlyn rented the conference room to have their hair and makeup done that morning which worked out really well. I loved the bridesmaids’ reaction when the bride returned after putting on her wedding dress. Looking at her in awe and cheering, they were a really fun, happy group to be with! With their wonderful families and lots of friends surrounding them on a sunny fall day they read their personally written vows to one another. There was an abundance of love and happiness as they celebrated their marriage and the beginning of their life together! I hope you newlyweds are relaxing and enjoying your honeymoon to the fullest!! Thank you for having us sharing in your wedding day!
We had a lovely time staying with this family last weekend while photographing a wedding at Langbank/Kenosee Lake. There was just a short time to capture some shots of their adorable 9 month old baby along with a few family ones. They did amazing this sweet little family! They are great friends and wonderful hosts, we always love our times together!!
“Experience the magic of Africa with us.”
It is a magical place and an unforgettable experience! I have been very fortunate to travel to Africa a few times and I love it so much!! The last trip was 3 years ago on one of these overland camping safaris. We highly, highly recommend seeing the splendor of Africa with my sister Daysha and her husband Musa. They are wonderful organizers and tour guides!!! Musa grew up in Kenya and both of them have worked on the road so they have tons of experience. It’s fun traveling with the group and other than helping out a bit with the cooking, washing up and packing, you just need to enjoy the beauty and magic of Africa…which is not hard at all!!
I could go on and on for hours about how much I love Africa and the incredible memories I have of my travels over there but I’ll share some of my photos from East Africa and just say I really feel it’s something everyone needs to experience at least once in their lifetime. It’s amazing and I’d go back in a heartbeat!! If you’ve been to Africa and have something to share too, leave a note below!
They have a 26 day tour from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania to Windhoek, Namibia coming up in January, if you’re interested in joining for an amazing African adventure check out their website for more information and dates: Tazamu Afrika
They will use an overland truck similar to this one, it’s great for viewing the scenery and on game drives when you are sitting this high it’s a definite advantage!
Start off with a few relaxing days on the beautiful beaches of Zanibar, the Spice Island. It is really nice!!
A highlight is seeing the animals in their natural habitat and Africa is known for The Big 5 (elephant, buffalo, rhino, lion and leopard).
Back in July, I spent part of a day with this great family. Their beautiful yard was a perfect setting for family photos and there’s lots of room to explore with these sweet girls. I loved the teepee that they whipped up and the girls couldn’t wait to be in it. It was really cute and made for a fun spot for them to hang out, be goofy and get some cuddles! Hearing cute giggles was the best part! Their colorful outfits and happy smiles brought so much cheer to an overcast day. Isn’t my cousin lucky to be surrounded by all his beautiful girls?! I have really enjoyed all the visits and time we’ve had together over the last while. You had a lot planned to fit in to your busy summer so thanks for making time for a fun family session too!!
You two are such a perfect match and compliment one another so well!
Here’s a girl that absolutely lights up when she is around animals, it isn’t hard to know what she adores!!
If you heard the groom’s speech at their wedding reception you would think this girl fell hard. Super hard. It was an incredible speech but it seemed the truth was stretched just a little, haha! I’m pretty sure the feeling was very mutual that nite in Radville. I love their happiness, laughter and both Colt + Ashley have a great sense of humor!! They compliment one another so perfectly. Sharing in their very special day was enjoyable. Witnessing and capturing their lifelong commitment and devotion to one another. It truly was a happy day and beautiful celebration of their love and happiness! Being there not only as the wedding photographer but also including us as friends, we felt honored. Having connected about two years ago and capturing other special moments for them I definitely feel they are not only clients but wonderful friends!
The day started off with a relaxed bride, bridesmaids and family in the hotel room. The radiant bride wondered why I was surprised when she was all ready to leave for the church over half an hour before the ceremony! The day was planned with lots of time between the ceremony and reception…no complaints from me for that!! It was a beautiful, fun afternoon sharing in their joy and excitement!
Congratulations Colt + Ashley!! I love working with you guys! Thank you very much for including us in your beautiful day!
