Happy Mother’s Day!
Happy Mother’s Day!
Here’s a little peek behind the scenes at our photo shoot in the Mojave desert. Five girls piled into a car and all these colorful props + works of art in the trunk. Making for an incredible setup and energizing, fun time together. Once we wrapped up shooting it took an artist to know how to place things just right to fit everything back in!! Thanks again to Bre and Melissa for all their work beforehand making plans and pulling everything together in short order!
This was when I felt especially bad that my husband was back home in the snow! Next time we need him to rip around on his dirtbike because it made for such a great backdrop. At first I don’t think the guys were pleased to move their truck out of our background. But then to show off like this, I think we made their afternoon ride much more interesting and they kept thinking of way to kick up more dust!
This is a great way to kickstart a new week! A session full of creative energy, color and enthusiasm.
Bre has now shown her fabulous 2013 spring collection at High Point Market and I am excited to share more photos from this amazing shoot. Shooting alongside 3 photographer friends, Laurie, Melissa and Brandi, and soaking up the desert sunshine as we photographed this lovely gal with her vivid, cheerful artwork. The colors such a contrast to the desert surroundings. With her background in interior design, Bre did a fantastic job putting things together to compliment her paintings so well. With her talent it’s no wonder she is licensed with the largest wall decor manufacturer in the USA and is creating custom pieces for clients. You can check out her website here. I’m so glad I got to share in this wonderful shoot with a creative group of ladies!!
She’s got personality as vibrant as her artwork. A fun little series with more photos to come very soon!
Better than one gorgeous girl is photographing two beauties! Having 3 sisters myself, I love seeing sisters together and the connection only sisters share. Something so much greater than the biological connection. You can tell these two share so much in one another’s lives and enjoy the times they spend together. It made for a fabulous afternoon! We ended with this special sister time. A little tea party with vintage teacups and a teapot of their Grandma’s.
