She’s got personality as vibrant as her artwork. A fun little series with more photos to come very soon!
Better than one gorgeous girl is photographing two beauties! Having 3 sisters myself, I love seeing sisters together and the connection only sisters share. Something so much greater than the biological connection. You can tell these two share so much in one another’s lives and enjoy the times they spend together. It made for a fabulous afternoon! We ended with this special sister time. A little tea party with vintage teacups and a teapot of their Grandma’s.

I know I keep saying it but I really loved each time I took photos in the heritage houses and every sessions was so much fun!
Thinking back to when I first met Britany, who also works for the magazine, we easily could have spent the entire afternoon chatting away. With similar taste and loving vintage + pretty things, I cannot wait to see all that this incredible bride-to-be will put together for their July wedding!! I know it will be very beautiful and filled with special, pretty details!
I adored my time with this gorgeous lady! I’ve gotten to know Brooke over the past several months from doing some photography for Fine Lifestyles magazine. You might recognize her as being co-publisher for the Estevan Weyburn magazine. A total sweetheart with stunning smile that carried thru to the last shots we took in these pretty, vintage surroundings!
When we needed to postpone their shoot again because of weather in early February I surely thought by mid-April a lot of our snow would have melted. Not so. A cold wind blew hard but we were determined to capture their family’s first portraits. What an honor! I was glad Nicole told me they were adventurous. Getting up into the loft of our barn, especially with a 1 year old, is just that! The light pouring thru the missing slats + cracks takes me in every time. This barn has a lot of history being built over 80 years ago. A real juxtaposition with a young family excited of what their future will bring!
Nicole is also a photographer so their sweet little girl has a lot of experience in front of a camera. Lexus stayed pretty serious but I just love how bright eyed she is and she did so well considering this weather. She maybe even let her parents snuggle her a bit more than usual! Nicole has her studio outside of Estevan and specializes in newborn photography – NZ photography.
I try to leave time during family sessions to capture just the parents. I especially love when clients request beforehand that we make time for the two of them!
