• hello and welcome!

What does BEAUTI mean to you?

beau-ty (n.pl.) Any of those attributes of form, sound, color, character, behavior, achievement, etc., which give pleasure and gratification to the senses or to the mind. Something excellent of its kind.

BEAUTI is more than physical attractiveness. BEAUTI surrounds us in many forms.

BEAUTI portrayed inside and out. BEAUTI at every age, in every stage of life. BEAUTI of this incredible world we live in. BEAUTI of emotions and feelings of the moment. BEAUTI that cannot be put into words.

    Discovering. Cherishing. Capturing.

Thank you for checking out my blog, feel free to look around and add a comment or send me a note. Sharing life’s BEAUTIs from my perspective…enjoy! Jenelle

Nimegeers | Extended Family

A gorgeous location, meaningful and charming.  The ghost town of Brooking.  Where Sue’s dad grew up and her grandfather was the mayor at one time.  They went out a couple nites before their session to our originally planned location and just weren’t really feeling it.  They knew I would love the substitute and I really did!  We had nice cloud cover and thankfully it didn’t rain because we wouldn’t have been able to use this pretty spot having only a dirt road to get in.  Driving back into town the streets were wet so we were fortunate!  I look forward to a picnic and another photo adventure at Brooking and another great laugh with this family!!

Super special to take some couple portraits on their wedding anniversary!

Wearing their green with pride!

Five generations…great gramma and great great gramma!

Bentley

I captured our nephew a few weeks past his first birthday while we were out visiting family in Alberta.  Bentley is one.  One busy boy.  On the move, he doesn’t stop.  I had short amounts of time, two days in a row, to photograph this cute, happy face.

Shane + Carla

There’s something about these two.  I haven’t known them very long or spent a lot of time together but it feels like we’ve been connected for ages.  Every visit is such a delight.  Four days in Vegas with Carla was a really wonderful treat.  It would be tough to find someone for a trip like that and have such similar interest and taste, as with her.  It really was incredible and we indulged.

Thank you for such a fun, relaxed, honest friendship.  You two are so happy and wonderful together.  I enjoyed my visit and especially this gorgeous evening, capturing the two of you and your genuine, abundant love in the park and by the lake.  We must get together again soon!

Maloney family

There are only a few girls that my 3 sisters and I would claim to be like sisters to us.  The gorgeous mommy of these adorable 3 boys is one of them.  And she even fits in perfectly with our age spacing.  Growing up only a mile apart, across the field.  Always rode the school bus together.  Spent lots of time at each others farms.  Looked up to, and admired her.  Still loving any chance to be around her.  She’s been a lifelong kind, caring friend.

I’m really happy to live close again.  You two are raising 3 very sweet, handsome boys.  They made the photo session so fun…kids keep the pace moving!  Loved all their happy grins, Ben constantly singing “cheeeeeeessseeee” and the cutest expressions they have.  Thanks for coming out to our place for your photo session.  Come to visit us often!

I think these will make Grampa Don proud!

Treble family

Turn east and go until the end of the road.  You will go down some hills approaching my farm.  Log rails down the lane.  These were my directions.  To a farmyard that provided so many possibilities with my camera in hand.  I had a wonderful evening with the family that lives at the end of that road.  Taking photos until the last bit of light was behind the trees.  Niki also collects antiques and had many props that are family treasures, and wanted to use special areas around their farm which added meaning to the photos.  Including the old Mercury truck that her parents used to move to this farm from Calgary.  I have amazing clients and glad for all my new clients that make shooting in new surroundings very enjoyable.

Having a Daddy who used to play pro ball and now coaches them, these kids have skill.  We had to make time for baseball.  It’s their game.

They have the neatest garden spot and the fence helps to keep the creatures out.

Very fun to end with a dress up garden party for the kids, something that they love to do and they have a great tickle trunk!

Aunty Lynn - Love that Mercury truck….lots of unique outdoor family pictures! Cute kids :)
