• hello and welcome!

What does BEAUTI mean to you?

beau-ty (n.pl.) Any of those attributes of form, sound, color, character, behavior, achievement, etc., which give pleasure and gratification to the senses or to the mind. Something excellent of its kind.

BEAUTI is more than physical attractiveness. BEAUTI surrounds us in many forms.

BEAUTI portrayed inside and out. BEAUTI at every age, in every stage of life. BEAUTI of this incredible world we live in. BEAUTI of emotions and feelings of the moment. BEAUTI that cannot be put into words.

    Discovering. Cherishing. Capturing.

Thank you for checking out my blog, feel free to look around and add a comment or send me a note. Sharing life’s BEAUTIs from my perspective…enjoy! Jenelle

Maloney family

There are only a few girls that my 3 sisters and I would claim to be like sisters to us.  The gorgeous mommy of these adorable 3 boys is one of them.  And she even fits in perfectly with our age spacing.  Growing up only a mile apart, across the field.  Always rode the school bus together.  Spent lots of time at each others farms.  Looked up to, and admired her.  Still loving any chance to be around her.  She’s been a lifelong kind, caring friend.

I’m really happy to live close again.  You two are raising 3 very sweet, handsome boys.  They made the photo session so fun…kids keep the pace moving!  Loved all their happy grins, Ben constantly singing “cheeeeeeessseeee” and the cutest expressions they have.  Thanks for coming out to our place for your photo session.  Come to visit us often!

I think these will make Grampa Don proud!

Treble family

Turn east and go until the end of the road.  You will go down some hills approaching my farm.  Log rails down the lane.  These were my directions.  To a farmyard that provided so many possibilities with my camera in hand.  I had a wonderful evening with the family that lives at the end of that road.  Taking photos until the last bit of light was behind the trees.  Niki also collects antiques and had many props that are family treasures, and wanted to use special areas around their farm which added meaning to the photos.  Including the old Mercury truck that her parents used to move to this farm from Calgary.  I have amazing clients and glad for all my new clients that make shooting in new surroundings very enjoyable.

Having a Daddy who used to play pro ball and now coaches them, these kids have skill.  We had to make time for baseball.  It’s their game.

They have the neatest garden spot and the fence helps to keep the creatures out.

Very fun to end with a dress up garden party for the kids, something that they love to do and they have a great tickle trunk!

Aunty Lynn - Love that Mercury truck….lots of unique outdoor family pictures! Cute kids 🙂

baby Lily

We don’t so much miss the place.  We miss the people.  An incredible little family with a recent addition in particular.  Simply said, they have been amazing friends.  It would take many, many words to describe the ways they have made our lives better, our house sale and move easier…and we are very, very grateful.  Thank you and much love from the bottom of our hearts.

Congratulations on your precious little girl.  Just a tiny little being.  She is beautiful.  Lily is not a very sound sleeper so there are lots of bright blue eyed photos.  Looking forward to another snuggle this weekend.  We miss you 4 so much!

(this dress was made by her talented, creative Mommy!)

Family photos in the sunshine | Mini sessions

There was a half hour scheduled on Kevin + Amy’s wedding day for photos of each of her gorgeous sisters and their families.  Two beautiful little families.  You all did amazing considering we had just a short amount of time to work with.  It was very sweet when the kids all walked up the aisle a few hours later too.  Hope you had a safe trip home to SK, it’s neat we live not too far apart.  I’m glad these photos were part of the day.

Kevin + Amy | Crossfield, Alberta Wedding

I was glad when we made our move east to know I was going back in a couple months to shoot Kevin + Amy’s farm wedding at Crossfield.  It was a perfect chance to get back to catch up with friends and their wedding day was magnificent.  Amy was the best for keeping me informed of updates and neat ideas they were going to use for their day.  Not only did every note make me that much more excited for their wedding day but it helped get coverage of all their special details.  I loved their rustic, country theme.  Every detail was perfectly suited.  The girls bouquets were very neat and unique, the designers made them from wood shavings.  Perfect for the sweltering hot summer day.

With the timing of their day to have a late afternoon outdoor ceremony, they chose to have a first look.  In a most beautiful old farmyard that provided an incredible rustic backdrop.  It was wonderful to be standing back, just watching and capturing their reactions and witnessing their love and connection.  Then headed back after photos for a most touching, beautiful wedding ceremony.  It was hard to put down my camera photographing such an incredibly good looking, super sweet couple!  I’d love any chance to photograph you two again.  Thank you Kevin + Amy, I enjoyed shooting your engagement and wedding photos so much.  I wish you two the very best together!!

Amy you are gorgeous, I love this shot!  I’m glad we had extra time after the ceremony for more bride + groom portraits!
