Tace | 5 Years Old

The typical response when I have my camera around this sweet nephew of mine is that he doesn’t like having his picture taken.  So this was an unusual evening!  He was very excited to show me how he can ride his 2-wheeler pedal bike.  Even stopping at the top of the hill to look and smile before racing down.  So I took full advantage that it would be a great evening to take him for a little “fishing” adventure and quickly put together a fishing pole.  He is one of the most thoughtful and fun little guys.  A memorable part was watching a muskrat swim right over to us then startled by our movement dove below the surface.  Such a great spring evening on the prairies!!

G'ma Nona - I do love these!! What a fantastic subject “the little boy and his fishing pole”!! The knees poking out of his jeans….sitiing on the culvert without a shirt almost says he has no worries and life is great!! Living life “in the moment”!
