Each month I plan to share a little of a personal project I am doing in 2016. One of the best things about living in the country on the Saskatchewan prairies is our view of these incredible skies! Instead of only getting a shot on my iPhone I am making a conscious effort this year to capture the gorgeous, colourful, lively skies with my professional camera. I plan to create a photo book with a collection of favorite images at the end of the year. So at the end of each month or beginning of the next I will share a few favorite captures from that month. Sharing here will also hold me accountable and help to keep me consistent throughout the year!
Well the last month of photographing our prairie skies for the year of 2016 has finished which means it’s time to go back through all the photos and choose favorites to put into a photo book! I will share details once the book is designed and ready to print as a few people have shown interest in purchasing a copy. We live in a part of the world that has fabulous, interesting, colorful and living skies so it will be fun to create a collection of beautiful prairie skies. I love these prairie skies! The beauty, how quickly it changes, the vibrancy and patterns. It is fascinating!! This was a fun project for 2016 and I’m glad I completed one of my missions for the year and know I will continue to notice + capture it as I always have. Here’s some of my December photos to complete the series.
